Barrier free building is the prevention of barriers and obstacles, especially with regards to entrance and access ways as well as all indoor areas.

Door closers

The door closers TS 4000 RFS (with link arm) and TS 5000 RFS (with guide rail) feature a freeswing function which makes it possible to use the door without any resistance in opening and closing direction. The initial opening of the door tensions the closing spring and ensures that the door will be closed if a fire alarm is released by the integrated smoke detector. These door closers are used for fire doors, which are to be used as "normal" doors but which, however, should safely close in case of fire. They are particularly suited for hospitals and old people’s homes.

Swing door drives

Slimdrive EMD, the electromechanical drive for swing doors, is a strong piece of highly compact technology. The maintenance-free high performance motor with low wear characteristics guarantees a reliable operation. The quiet operation of the drive makes it perfectly suitable for the use in offices, hospitals or residential accommodations. All parameters including opening and closing speed, latching force, recognition of disabilities or hold-open time are adjustable to the specific situation.

The servo drive Slimdrive SD-Servo compensates the closing force of the spring, thus facilitating manual opening of the door with hardly any opening resistance. This offers great comfort in use. The door closes after each opening by hydraulic control comfortably and safely

Sliding door drives

The Slimdrive SL opens sliding doors automatically after being actuated via movement detector or switch and ensures barrier free passing of the door. Depending on the particular design and space requirements, it is possible to use this drive for telescopic sliding doors or semi-circular and circular sliding doors.
These drives are suitable for internal and external doors like swing-door drives.
